Season's greetings on this frosty Christmas Eve! I have been meaning to share this post for the last week, but the week before Christmas has been a little bit busy. Wishing you and yours the best on this beautiful day!

We have been wanting to find more ways we can help people in our community and show Leif the importance of getting involved and helping those in need. In talking to one of my clients about this a few months back, he mentioned that he had taken his boys to feed the homeless through an organization called "Mamma's Hands". That name rang a bell for me because just last year I helped one of my clients buy a home that was being retired from "Mama's Hands".  At the time of the transaction I had done a little internet research to find out what…

Hi All,

I have a beautiful listing in the Cedar Falls neighborhood, right across from the park. Just thought I would throw it out there if anyone has interested buyers. c It has gorgeous mountain views from every window and is the largest floorplan in the neighborhood. Bring your buyers or send them to the open house this Sunday from 1:30-4:30.

Buyers getting “some relief” as key indicators point to strong summer for housing market

KIRKLAND, Washington (July 8, 2019) – Inventory, pending sales and prices all increased during June
compared to a year ago, according to the latest report from Northwest Multiple Listing Service. The same

volume of new listings and closed sales.

Hello All,

This is a great cause that is easy to support. If you would like to help, a box of crayons (or more) will do the trick! Please see below for the details, every box helps- I really appreciate your support!

Our goal this year is to collect 250,000 Crayons for Children's Hospital!

The Cascade Team is once again hosting Project Crayon Drive this month!  For the young who find themselves at Seattle Children’s Hospital, sometimes the simple things like a coloring book and a few crayons can be as soothing as the trained staff and smiling doctors. Yet, something as simple as crayons often goes overlooked.

Each year, Children’s Hospital goes through over 240,000 crayons, but each child only gets a couple to use.

And that’s where The…

In January, I had the opportunity to attend and become a member of the organization "100 Women Who Care GSV", what I did not know at the time was how much I would come to love what these ladies are all about! When my friend Adrianne invited me, it seemed like a simple outing with friends to support local organizations in the valley, all while having a glass of wine. As we walked in the door of Sigillo, we signed in, got name tags, grabbed a seat, a glass of Malbec and chatted with the ladies at our table. It wasn't long before the event was underway and there were two lovely ladies at the podium discussing what the night would hold... For me, this is when the magic began, it turns out that by the end of the night this room of ladies would all vote and…

I hope you all are having a great start to 2019. So far we have been blessed with some beautiful sunny days to start the new year! Below is an ever changing board of quotes that we have hanging in our home. I thought I would share what I learned yesterday about the importance of those that help and service the items in our homes. It is these important people that keep our lives running smoothly on a daily basis.

Learn from yesterday, Live for today, Hope for tomorrow.

We heard about Craig at Peacock Appliance several years ago when our dishwasher suddenly quit working, since then he has serviced almost every major appliance in our home. Most recently our washer unexpectedly quit and I found myself in a state of panic as I…

Last Thursday Ben and I had the opportunity to meet up, run, get to know, share and drink with a rising star of the Snoqualmie Valley, "The North Bend Beer Runners"! We were excited to gather with other like-minded people, who enjoy the beauty of the Valley, the community of running and sharing a frosty beverage. We got a sitter for our son Leif and met at 6:30 pm on a WINDY and blustery evening up on the Ridge at Infusion Bar and Grill. Upon arrival, we encountered 40 runners festively dressed in holiday garb. These folks seriously go the extra mile with flashing Christmas-light necklaces, ugly sweaters, a blow-up Rudolph and even a Santa hat with a beard! The season of giving was in full-effect as everyone brought underwear to donate to SVSD students…

As the holidays are approaching “The Heart of North Bend” will be collecting and promoting the sharing of canned goods and other food items with our local food banks! I know that the holiday hustle and bustle has already begun in our home… literally I had to do a double take when I realized on Monday that Thanksgiving was next week! As I thumbed through cookbooks and planned all of the delicious food that we will share with family, I reveled in the closeness that our loved ones will provide around the dinner table. While making my shopping list, I was reminded that holidays can be hard and often lack cheer for those in need.

This week I also came across this little clip on Goalcast. Here is the link, it is only 4 minutes and well worth it! My take…
